INTRO TO BELLY DANCE! Step (and Shimmy) Out of Your Comfort Zone—That’s Where the Fun Is! Join Glenna for a one-hour intro to belly dance clas! Please wear comfortable clothing, go barefoot or use yoga socks with grips, and bring drinking water. GLENNA'S STORY I’m a free-spirited sexagenarian introduced to belly dance 20 years ago at my local gym in Newmarket, where it was offered as a fitness class. I got hooked! I joined an amateur dance troupe and performed at various local fundraisers, community events, and, my favorite, Pedestrian Sundays in Kensington Market in Toronto. Since moving to Muskoka two years ago, I have not had opportunities to dance, and I miss it. So, I decided to seek the possibility of teaching …and step out of my comfort zone.
